about

In February of this year, I became seriously ill with a rare autoimmune neurological condition that left me largely bed-bound and unable to drive, walk, or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. I also continue to struggle with impaired brain function and memory loss.

Around the same time, I had to step away from my job as a television news producer because my health stopped me from performing my regular work duties.

Frustrated with my body and my mind, an Instagram reel inspired me to get back into art again after nearly 10 years of focusing on other passions. What began as something to help calm my mind and pass the time quickly became something much more meaningful. Drawing gave me a way to focus without feeling overwhelmed, reconnect with my roots, and bring purpose back into my days.

Art helped me rediscover who I was -- and who I still am.

I create detailed illustrated pieces inspired by my travels -- the architecture, the culture, and the people, places, and experiences that give  a city life.

Every purchase directly supports my medical care, daily expenses, and my ability to keep creating.

Thank you for being here.
